Ed Sheeran & Sunday Girl

It’s been great to hear Ed Sheeran’s songs on the radio at last, so I thought I’d post a couple of shots of him and another great act called Sunday Girl from a gig I shot last year. It was a very low key event, but nice to hear artists perform.

Lovebox Weekender Festival – London 2010

Had the pleasure of shooting at the Lovebox festival this year in Victoria park, Hackney. Weather was amazing all weekend, a real summer vibe and was able to catch some amazing acts.

AC Slater, according to Mixmag is, “The finest producer in the world named after a character from the early 90′s high school comedy ‘Saved by the bell’ “. I would go further and say he is one of the nicest people I’ve had a chance to work with and has no fear of farmyard animals! After testing his resolve early on in the shoot with the tiniest chihuahua I have ever seen, it was onto the pigs and goats. No hesitation and no fear! Unfortunately, the giant rabbits were having a off day but being in the pig pen was amazing. The funniest part of the shoot was when I got sneezed on by the pig.. Pig snot is like glue and the very helpful pig handler stepped in and peeled it off as I was having trouble shaking it free. Here are my favourites:

The talented Miss Lealea Jones

This is actually a shoot from last year but I’m a bit slack when it comes to posting new work and besides these shots are only just beginning to roll out. Lealea Jones is a very talented songstress from hackney with a very bright future ahead of her. As well as supporting acts such as Jay Z, Beyonce & Amy Winehouse; she has also been asked to pen a song for Rihanna! She is also great to watch live, with a sassy, jazzy style that I love. Relentless & Kerrang Tour @ Camden Roundhouse, London

Relentless Energy Tour 2010, with its tour finale at the roundhouse in Camden and Jett Black as a extra support act for the London leg of the tour.
